If you do not have a map, this level will probably seem impossible, and even with a guide, Chip might find himself running out of time if he is too slow. Totally Unfair is a unanimous 5 rating! Use your knowledge of teeth, and the level's hint which directs you to remember how Totally Fair worked.

The route this time through is 6L to take three chips and set the teeth moving, and then 5U 18R 17U RUR [4] 8D R [8] 8U R [8] 6D [8] 5U [6] R. You are now free to take the chips, go back to the exit, and leave one of the hardest puzzles in the entire levelset.[[File:Marker.jpg|thumb|left|Chips path using the markers]]

The seemingly randomly placed wall formations on the outside-right of the impenetrable teeth-area are in fact markers to the places where Chip has to wait in order to trap the teeth onto the brown button. Starting with Chip below the hint square, move right and up  till he is just below the two joined wall-tiles at top (the three-tile formation). Move Chip down to the level of the bottom wall tile . The next move is again up to the base of the adjacent two wall-tiles of the three tile formation. Move Chip down till he touches the north side of the isolated wall tile. Then go up till Chip touches the bottom of the third wall-tile that touches the top two tiles at its top-left corner. Finally go to right at the level of the trap itself. By the time you near the bear trap, you will hear the click of the brown button being pressed.

The above diagram shows an outline of a similar route, where the [[wall]] pieces to the left are a guide to where Chip must move. This is another subtle hint to a dizzying puzzle.

Totally Unfair is the 131st level in Chip's Challenge 1. Aside from the removal of a glider and a second teeth, Totally Unfair is identical to Totally Fair, except for one small thing: Chip can't walk into the teeth area, such that he must work completely blind - and in only sixty seconds:

The key few tiles which change everything.

If you do not have a map, this level will probably seem impossible, and even with a guide, Chip might find himself running out of time if he is too slow. Totally Unfair is a unanimous 5 rating! Use your knowledge of teeth, and the level's hint which directs you to remember how Totally Fair worked.

Special dispatch from Melinda

Dear Chip, This level will seem more fair if you take the time to read the hint. This is a level that could become totally fair! In the meantime, Chip, it's important for you to know that when you get caught in those bear traps, it causes me pain, too! Commiseratingly Yours, Melinda
